Transform ebusiness have provided ebusiness services to European Waterways since November 2002. Since then we have totally re-designed and search engine optimised the website to achieve page 1 rank for a wide list of market keywords in their business sector - luxury barge cruises in seven European destinations.

We have designed and developed a newsletter called the lock-keeper which we have published monthly over the last 3 years, growing the subscription list from 2,500 to around 20,000 names. We devise and manage monthly competitions and promotions to promote GoBarging's fleet of 13 barges and wide range of theme cruise vacations. We have also used press releases and adwords campaigns in conjunction with our newsletter features to increase exposure and awareness of this luxury niche market product to a wider audience world-wide.

A recent example features Rick Stein's French Odyssey BBC2 series, where he travelled across France on two barges of the GoBarging fleet, experiencing the cuisine along the way.

Our Rick Stein press release obtained initial good results on the search engines for anyone looking for Rick Stein or French Odyssey, followed-up by Adwords campaigns which brought targeted traffic to the web site and resulted in many Brochure requests and Availability enquiries.

Our lock-keeper competition to win signed copies of Rick's BBC French Odyssey book also received a lot of attention and helped to further build our subscription and interest in GoBarging.
